Police probing suspected arson attack at Pretoria resort

Police are investigating an incident where five vehicles suddenly caught
alight and started burning at Cedar Junction Family Resort in Pretoria.
The incident happened on Heritage Day on Friday.
In a video on social media the cars can been seen burning with black smoke billowing around the park, while others are being pulled from the blazing inferno.

Manager at the Cedar Junction Family Resort in Pretoria, Lilly Lottering, says they suspect arson.
“Yes, there was a fire and we suspect it’s an arson attack. Five vehicles did burn out, there was one vehicle that almost got damaged and the others managed to pull away (in time). Only the five vehicles completely burned.”
Lottering says fortunately no one was injured in the blaze as the fire department and law enforcement arrived on the scene.
“The fire brigade was also here and they also apart of the investigation. Nobody was injured. (For now) we still waiting for a case number from the police.”
