Police spokesperson Malcolm Poje says rough sea conditions along the southern coast are still hampering efforts to find the girl.

Scheepers was in the car with her mother Heidi and brother Hugo when their kombi plunged down a 100 metre cliff last week.

The bodies of the mother and son were later recovered from the sea near Herolds Bay.

"We've been searching quite for a while, so the search has been scaled down for now and we will do sporadic patrols along the coastline in the Herolds Bay," says police spokesperson Malcolm Poje.

Police have made a public appeal for help in the search for six-year-old girl.

First shipment of new Ebola vaccine arrives in DR Congo

The Congolese medical authorities said Saturday they had received the first shipment of a new Ebola vaccine as the central African country battles its second deadliest outbreak of the virus this decade. The health ministry for the eastern province of North Kivu said that a preliminary batch of 11,000 doses of the new Ad26-ZEBOV-GP vaccine manufactured by Johnson & Johnson had arrived on Friday.

"We appeal to members of the public and fisherman that frequent that specific area to be on the look out for any debris or any movement on the ocean that can assist us in finding the six year old that's still missing.

"We remain positive but in this moment in time we can almost assume that the six-year-old, the girl, has drowned but her body is still not found."

Police are still investigating the cause of the accident.

"We haven't made a conclusion in terms of our investigation and don't really want to really speculate on this but at this current moment in time we don't suspect foul play," he adds.
