Police uncover drug lab in Polokwane

A 29-year-old man was arrested when Limpopo police uncovered a drug laboratory in Polokwane on Thursday.

The man was arrested for the illegal manufacturing and dealing of illicit drugs.
Police spokesperson Malesela Ledwaba says the suspect was also in possession of a suspected stolen car.
"It is reported that 29-year-old suspect, who is also a foreign national, was found in the mini drug busy producing laboratory busy packaging the drugs and some package was found in a vehicle," says Ledwaba.
"In the laboratory, drugs of various types such as nyaope, crystal meth and rock, all estimated at over million rands were found."
He is expected to appear in the Polokwane Magistrate's Court soon.
