Popular actress Shaleen Surtie-Richards dies at 66

Veteran television, film and theatre star Shaleen Surtie-Richards has died at the age of 66.
The popular actress passed away this morning, although the details surrounding her death aren't yet known.
Richards is best known for her role in the 1988 film adaptation of the Afrikaans novel ‘Fiela se Kind’, as well as popular soapies ‘7de Laan and ‘Egoli’.
Richards was famous for her role as Fiela Komoetie in the 1988 film adaptation of the Afrikaans novel "Fiela se kind" and Nenna in the long-running soapie "eGoli".
