Possibility of severe thunderstorms in Gauteng on Tuesday
The South African Weather Service has warned of a possibility of severe thunderstorms over parts of Gauteng on Tuesday.
Forecaster Edward Ellenburg says the storms could result in hail falling over parts of the province.
"We are expecting mostly 30% chance of afternoon thunderstorms. It should come through about 3 'o'clock in parts of Gauteng as well as the western parts of Limpopo and Mpumalanga," said Ellenburg.
He added that there is a small change of thunderstorms over the eastern parts of Mpumalanga and Limpopo.
