Power failure disrupts operations at Bronkhorstspruit Water Treatment Plant
The city of Tshwane has warned Region 7 residents of another possible water supply issue in the area.
Operations were interrupted at the Bronkhorstspruit Water Treatment Plant due to a power failure on Friday.
Some parts of Region 7, particularly Rethabiseng and Ekangala, had experienced a prolonged water outage caused by the breakdown of a pump at the same Water Treatment Plant over the past few weeks.
"The plant is currently off, and technicians are on-site carrying out investigations with the view of effecting the necessary repairs" said Tshwane spokesperson Lindela Mashigo.
"The estimated time of restoration is currently unknown" he added.

• Cultural Park
• Ekandustria
• Ekangala
• Masada
• Rethabiseng
• Riamarpark
• Thembisile Hani Local Municipality
• Zithobeni
