Power outage affecting western suburbs of Joburg

City Power on Friday said it was experiencing power outages in the western suburbs of Johannesburg due to a fault on a transformer at Kloofendal Substation on Christian De Wet Road in Roodepoort.
"City Power is doing its best to restore the power in affected areas and expect power to be fully restored in 24 hours," it said.
The affected areas include:
· Weltevreden Park
· Constantia Kloof
· Roodekrans
· Breaunanda
· Helderkruin
· Wilro Park and surrounding areas
City Power said technicians are replacing a faulty transformer.
