Prasa: Autopax employees will be paid
Updated | By Jacaranda FM News
The Passenger Rail Agency of South Africa (Prasa) has promised Autopax employees
that they will be paid their salaries before the end of the month.
This after an internal memorandum was sent warning employees that they would not be receiving their salaries for April due to a lack of fund.
The company operates City to City and Translux buses.
The railway agencies' Nana Zenani says acting CEO Lindikaya Zide has expressed anger at the issuing of an "irresponsible memorandum" to staff.
"There is money that has been ring fenced at Autopax and the acting CEO gave an instruction that the money should be accessed and staff paid," says Zenani.
