Premier visits Kanyamazane as anger grows
Updated | By Jacaranda FM News
Mpumalanga Premier Refilwe Mtshweni has expressed her concern over the spate of protests in Kanyamazane near Mbombela.

The protest started on Monday with residents blocking roads with burning tyres.
They are claiming the local government failed to assist them to repair their homes following a damaging hailstorm in May.
Mtshweni has expressed her concern over the disruption it has caused to schooling over the past three days.
The premier has pleaded with the community to cooperate with the local government to find an amicable solution.
"We are willing and prepared to work with them, we are not running away," says Mtshweni.
Preliminary examinations for Grade 12 are expected to start later this month.
Mtshweni says her office will engage with the Department of Education in the province to ensure extra classes are provided for learners affected by the protest.
