'Wendy Nelson faces no fraud charges'

The office of the premier of the North West has rubbished claims that acting Premier, Wendy Nelson, is facing fraud charges.
Beleaguered Premier Supra Mahumapelo, who has taken a leave of absence, appointed Nelson as acting premier on Wednesday.
Nelson is the provinces Finance, Economic and Enterprise Development MEC.
Premier spokesperson Brian Setswambung says there is no case opened against her.
"We see those reports as basically trying to tarnish the image of the acting premier as at time she just started with her responsibility," says Setswambung.
Setswambung adds her records of accomplishment speaks for itself.
"Here we've got a leader with absolute commitment, focus in the responsibility that she is given."
Setswambung says Nelson is a person of integrity.
