The Presidency has denied excluding people living with disabilities from the country’s Coivid-19 vaccination campaign.

Acting Minister in the Presidency Khumbudzo Ntshavheni briefed the media in Pretoria on Thursday on the spate of violence and looting in Gauteng and KwaZulu-Natal.
"When we said we are vaccinating the 60-year-old plus, we have not excluded the persons with disabilities, Our health facilities are always here to make sure they are accessible for persons with disability,” she said.
"There has not been any exclusion.”
"When we opened for the 50+, there was no exclusion of people with disability because we don't discriminate against persons with disability. For us they are part of South Africa."
Ntshavheni has called on persons living with disabilities to report cases of discrimination.
"We have not had a comment that said I am a person with a disability, and I have gone to a facility, and it was not accessible, and I could not be assisted by nursing staff or the healthcare workers for me at the place for me to receive the vaccination.
"If those incidents take place, they must be reported quickly so that we can attend to those because all South Africans for all age cohorts that is being vaccinated, they must be vaccinated irrespective whether they have a disability or not."
