President Zuma's biggest blunders in office

President Jacob Zuma resigned from office on Wednesday evening with immediate effect, ending a rather controversial term in South African political history.

After taking office in 2009, President Zuma has been embroiled in accusations of fraud and misconduct.


Among the many scandals the president was a part of, a few stand out.


The upgrades to his house in Nkandla - where he was found to have had "benefitted unduly" and was ordered to pay back some of the money; the 783 counts of fraud, racketeering corruption and money laundering - which he still has to answer for.
