Pretoria East to have reduced water from Monday afternoon

The City of Tshwane has announced that there will be water reductions due to planned maintenance by Rand Water.
“The City has received a notification from Rand Water about a planned shutdown of the water supply to the eastern parts of Tshwane,” says spokesperson Lindela Mashigo.
“During this period the water utility will install tie-ins and meter connections on the newly installed pipeline.”
Mashigo says that the maintenance will last for 12 hours.
“The shutdown will start from 17:00 on Monday and end at 05:00 Tuesday.”
However, the City promises that reservoirs in the following affected areas will be filled before the planned shutdown:
Hatherley
Kwaggafontein
Mahube Valley
Mamelodi
Nellmapius
Portion 23, Zwartkoppies (Savannah Country Estate)
Sammy Marks Museum
Shere
Silver Lakes
Six Fountains
Willow Acres
Zwartkoppies
