Prisoner escapes from Kgosi Mampuru Prison

Police have launched a manhunt for a dangerous criminal - dubbed Spiderman - who escaped from the Kgosi Mampuru Prison at the weekend.
Gauteng police spokesperson Lungelo Dlamini says the circumstances surrounding his escape are still being investigated.
Henry Edema Timaya Onoh from Nigeria escaped during the early hours of Saturday morning.
"He has been linked to serious and violent crimes, not only in Gauteng but also in Mpumalanga and KwaZulu-Natal. It is suspected he might also have fled to other provinces."
The escapee was due to be sentenced for rape, housebreaking and theft on Monday 5 December in the Pretoria Magistrate's Court.
