Prominent Limpopo businesswoman, nephew killed at hotel
The police in Limpopo have launched a manhunt for an uknown suspect who shot and killed a prominent businesswoman and her nephew at her hotel.
The incident happened outside Origstad on Saturday.
The bodies of the deceased were found burnt inside two different houses on the hotel premises.
"The deceased 77-year-old woman was the owner of the business, and the 73-year-old male victim, was her nephew," says police spokesperson Malesela Ledwaba.
"According to the information received, one male wearing a balaclava was seen fleeing the scene."
The motive for the killing is unknown and no arrest has been made.
