Protesters close Golden Highway in Eldorado Park
Updated | By JacarandaFM News
The Golden Highway in Eldorado Park was closed to traffic this morning amid violent protests in the area.

Community members took to the streets in the early hours of this morning, affecting traffic on the N12 near Lenasia and Freedom Park.
Police fired rubber bullets to disperse angry protesters.
Police spokesperson Lungelo Dlamini says they also received reports of a truck and a bakkie that was set alight.
Dlamini says the N12 is open and police are monitoring the situation.
"The only road that is still closed is the Golden Highway near Eldorado Park, police are trying to remove the rocks that were put in the road in the early hours of this morning. We have not received any reports of injuries when police fired rubber bullets this morning," says Dlamini.
