Another psychologist is expected to testify in the High Court in Johannesburg, sitting in Palm Ridge, on Tuesday, in the murder trial of four people implicated in the death of Kirsty Theologo.

Lindon Wagner, Courtney Daniels, Harvey Isha and Robin Harwood have pleaded not guilty to killing Theologo, 18, and attempting to murder her 14-year-old friend.

Two others, Jeremy King and Lester Moody, confessed to the crime and were each sentenced to 17 years' imprisonment, five of them suspended.

Theologo died in hospital a week after being doused with petrol and set alight in an alleged satanic ritual at a hill in Linmeyer, Johannesburg, in October 2011. Her friend survived the attack.

On Thursday, clinical psychologist Suzette Heath said Theologo's alleged killers had not documented their plans.

"There was even confusion about when the killing would take place. Some thought it would happen about three weeks later."

She said that for people who planned to burn a person, they did not have enough petrol.

It was understood that the group of attackers took with them a small amount of petrol, which they carried in a juice bottle.
