Updated | By Lonwabo Miso
The case of three Mozambicans arrested for possession of perlemoen (abalone) worth about R10 million has been postponed by the Paarl Magistrate's Court, Western Cape police said on Wednesday.
"They will appear again in court for a bail hearing on 16 October 2014," Colonel Tembinkosi Kinana said in a statement.
The men, aged between 24 and 34, appeared in court on Monday.
They were arrested at Rooshoek Farm in Wellington on Friday after police received a tip-off.
Most of the 20,456 perlemoen confiscated were undersized, he said.
During a search of the property, police found equipment used to dry and process the perlemoen.
