R1m reward offered for N4 heist suspects

Police have launched a manhunt for the an unknown number of suspects involved in a cash-in-transit heist on the N4 near Bronkhorstspruit.
According to police, the SBV cash vehicle was rammed off the road by a single vehicle.
Four security personnel were forcefully taken out of the vehicle before the robbers bombed the van.
Police spokesperson Brenda Muridili says nobody was injured.
"The unknown number of suspects, armed with rifles, allegedly bombed the cash van. An undisclosed amount of money was taken.
"The suspects drove off in three vehicles while the one they used to ram off the cash van was left burning.”
The suspects are still at large.
"The police have launched a manhunt for the suspects,” Muridili adds.
SBV Services offered up a R1-million reward to anyone with information that will lead to the apprehension of the suspects.
In a statement, CEO Mark Barrett says: "SBV does not tolerate any violence, crime and threats to our human lives. We will tirelessly persist in our efforts to mitigate cash-in-transit crime and together with the authorities and the CIT industry, we will ensure that the perpetrators involved in CIT attacks are brought to justice."
