Updated | By ANA
A R50,000 reward has been offered following the unsolved murder of a man in Kimberley who was found strung up from the roof of his house and with a grave dug in his backyard earlier this year.
Police on Wednesday called on anyone able to provide information enabling the arrest of the suspect or suspects responsible for the murder in Galeshewe, Kimberley, to come forward.
“The Galeshewe police offers R50,000 to any person who will come forward with the information that may lead to the arrest and conviction of the suspects who murdered Marshall Bogacwi,” said Northern Cape police spokesperson Olebogeng Tawana.
In April 2015, the decomposed body of 35-year-old Bogacwi was found hanging from the roof of his house. Bogacwi’s hands and feet were tied and a grave had been dug in his yard.
No arrests have been made.
Those with information were urged to contact the investigating officer Paballo Motshepe on 082 4690 139 or the Galeshewe police at 053 8076 000, 10 111, or 0860 10 111.
“All the information will be treated with strictest confidentiality,” said Bogacwi.
