President Cyril Ramaphosa went to the African National Congress (ANC) voter call centre in Centurion after casting his vote at Hitekani Primary in Chiawelo on Wednesday.
Ramaphosa was personally calling people and inquiring whether they have voted, with many answering in the affirmative.
"I kept saying: ‘Whisper to me, how did you vote?’ and they said that they have voted for the ANC. That was for me very encouraging to hear that a quite of a number of people have responded positively to our message.
"They are looking forward to having a great future in our country, under the leadership of the ANC, " Ramaphosa said.
Ramaphosa also did an Instagram live video call with well-known personalities, including Dj Tira, AKA and media mogul Bonang Matheba.

@bonang_m has promised me, “Mr Preezy”, that she will be casting her vote today. I asked that she urge all young people who love their country to do the same, regardless of the party that they choose vote for. The most important thing is to exercise your right. #SAElections2019 pic.twitter.com/4yzC49ZyCE
