Ramaphosa spoke in Pretoria on Saturday.

The president made the remarks after a visit to the Moseneke family following the death of ANC member and businessman Tiego Moseneke.

"When I appointed the Minister of Electricity, I made it clear what the roles of three ministers will be," Ramaphosa said.

"I made it clear the Minister of Electricity is going to focus his attention on ridding our country of load shedding.

“Minister of Mineral Resources and Energy, his task is to be the repository of the regulations, the laws that we have on regulating energy reside with him.

“Minister of Public Enterprises will be dealing with the issues of Eskom in relation to governance, in relation to restructuring of Eskom so that we deliver precisely what we promised to deliver."

Ramaphosa also conveyed his condolences to the Moseneke family after Tiego Moseneke was killed in a car crash on Wednesday.

He was the brother of former deputy chief justice Dikgang Moseneke, and the founder and controlling shareholder of Encha Group.

“A loss of a brother to Judge Moseneke is devastating. I feel great sadness because I knew Tiego, he was a very loyal member of the ANC. I have great respect for him as a businessman, and as a human being," the president told reporters.

"He will be among those we will miss for the attributes that he had as a human being. His passing was a bit too early, and we will miss him dearly."

Moseneke will be laid to rest on Wednesday.
