Ramaphosa: We're here to rekindle the love affair with the ANC
Updated | By Jacaranda FM News
African National Congress (ANC) President Cyril Ramaphosa is officially launching the party's Thuma Mina campaign in Tembisa on Friday.
The "Send Me" campaign aims to involve the general public in finding solutions to the country's problems and actively try to better their own circumstances.
"Thuma Mina is an overall campaign where we are saying to our people: Send us, send us wherever you want us to improve your lives, and make it better," Ramaphosa said during his 5km walk.
Various governmental officials were joined by scores of Tembisa community members at the walkabout.
"We are obviously trying to re-engage with our people, we are re-energised, and you can see the response that our people have given to this. Our people demand that the organisation should reengage with them, should rekindle their love affair with the ANC."
