Rand Water wraps up marathon maintenance work
Updated | By Nokukhanya Mntambo
Following 54 hours of maintenance work, Rand Water is satisfied that all operations have been completed but urged residents to continue using water sparingly.

The utility provider undertook a R600 million project to upgrade one of its pipelines.
"The project has been completed in terms of the work that we had planned in the 54 hours," says Eddie Singo, Rand Water's executive manager.
Water pressure is expected to increase by Thursday.
"We are expecting that by tonight the full commissioning will have been done and then the consumers will start seeing or experiencing pressure increase at least some time tomorrow morning."
Singo says only minimal disruptions were experienced.
