[READ] Govt gazettes level 1 regulations
Minister of Cooperative Governance and Traditional Affairs Nkosazana Dlamini-Zuma has gazetted the amended level 1 regulations announced by President Cyril Ramaphosa on Sunday.
Alcohol will now be sold during normal licenced hours while the curfew is now from midnight to 4 am.
"It is important to note that even as the country moves to alert level 1 and economic activities increasing, a face mask means a cloth face mask or a homemade item that covers the nose and mouth, or another appropriate item to cover the nose and mouth remain mandatory," the department said in a statement.
