Just under 100 people attended the intimate launch on what would have been Reeva's 33rd birthday.

Reeva was shot dead by her Paralympian boyfriend Oscar Pistorius on Valentine's Day in 2013.

Pistorius is currently serving a six year jail sentence for her murder.

Several people were elected as ambassadors to the Reeva foundation last night, including Toni Inggs who is the sister of slain PE teacher Jayde Panayioutou.

"At first when I thought about it, it hurt. It hurts because something horrible had to happen to two beautiful girls for this to happen. But I am very honoured and grateful. Hopefully we can open the eyes of the people in the rest of our country," Inggs said.

The Foundation introduced the so-called "Reeva Pack" - which is an educational initiative against domestic violence while also announcing the first so-called Reeva Girl, a bursary which will be awarded to a final year law student who aims to specialise in family law.
