Residents in north of Joburg without power
Several suburbs in the north of Johannesburg were without electricity on Wednesday morning.
Eskom says a transformer tripped causing a total loss of power.
Affected areas include Joburg North, Cosmos City, Lanseria, Magaliesig, Randburg, Ruimsig, and Zandspruit.

Spokesperson for Eskom in Gauteng Reneiloe Semenya says it’s not known when power would be restored.
