Rhino poached on North West farm
Updated | By sibahle motha

The carcass had been there for three weeks.
"According to the owner, he last saw the rhino earlier this month. One of his employees on the farm saw the carcass while on his routine patrol [on Saturday]," Captain Paul Ramaloko said.
"Preliminary investigations revealed that a high calibre rifle was used to put the rhino down. It is not clear how the poachers gained access to the farm."
He said the police's stock theft unit went to the farm on Saturday.
"The forensic team is busy with the carcass today [Sunday]."
No arrests had been made yet.
