Road closures ahead of Soweto derby

A number of roads around the FNB Stadium in Soweto will be closed due to the soccer match between Kaizer Chiefs and Orlando Pirates, Johannesburg metro police said on Friday.

A number of roads around the FNB Stadium in Soweto will be closed due to the soccer match between Kaizer Chiefs and Orlando Pirates, Johannesburg metro police said on Friday.
Nasrec Road, the Soweto Highway, and Rand Show Road would be closed on Saturday from 8am to 5pm, Chief Superintendent Wayne Minnaar said.
Minnaar encouraged fans to arrive early.
People coming from Soweto were encouraged make use of the "Top 6" taxi association service from Soweto to the stadium.
The Gautrain bus shuttle service would operate from Park Station to the stadium, and the Metrorail train service would run from Pretoria and Vereeniging to the stadium.
Minnaar said parking tickets would be available on the Computicket website.
