Roads to avoid during floods
Updated | By Jacaranda FM News
A slow moving storm has caused localised flooding across Johannesburg.

Arterial routes have been flooded, with videos emerging of cars being swept away.
Johannesburg Metro Police Department spokesperson Wayne Minnaar says the Gillooly's Interchange and Wilgerood Road in Kloofendal have been flooded.
"Motorists can use the M1 and M2 as alternate routes. They are reminded to drive with caution, reduce speed and keep their headlights on," he says.
Traffic on Grayston Drive is also heavily backed up amid the heavy downpour.
Video and photos on social media show masses of water streaming down roads.
