Robbers gun down Tzaneen store manager

A gang of four suspected robbers have shot and killed a store manager at Shihoko village in Letsitele near Tzaneen.
The robbery took place on Wednesday.
Police say the suspects entered Shoprite Usave at around 7pm, where they shot and killed the 26-year-old manager.
Police spokesperson Colonel Malesela Ledwaba says the four suspects entered the retail store where they demanded money from the manager.

"In the process, the manager was shot and died at the scene, while five other employees were assaulted and sustained minor injuries.
"The suspects managed to rob two 5kg Braai packs, three cell phones and a cash amount of R650,00 after failing to open the safe."
No arrests have been made.
