Roof collapses at Bloem shopping centre
Updated | By OFM
Interstate Bus Lines in Bloemfontein says there is no truth to reports of a bus falling through the roof at the Central Park Shopping Center.

A ceiling collapsed at the centre on Wednesday morning.
Interstate spokesperson Frank Ntsane says everything will continue as usual on their side and passengers are still using the transport service.
He says, however, the passengers will have to use the ramp outside the mall to get to the buses.

This is as the mall’s doors are closed to allow further investigations and a mop-up operation.
Ntsane further adds that the ticket office is also still operating as usual as it is on the first floor in the mall and the area is not affected.
"Everything is still running as normal. The only thing that happened is that our passengers they are going to use the ramp to go on top because all the building all the shops are closed".
The police confirmed the ceiling which collapsed was in front of PEP Store and Pie City.
Investigations showed the collapse was due to a burst water pipe.
