Several people trapped after roof collapses at Charlotte Maxeke Hospital
Updated | By Suné du Toit
A roof has collapsed at the Charlotte Maxeke Hospital in Johannesburg this afternoon.

Gauteng Emergency Services' Lesiba Malotana says construction work was being done on the roof.
"They were working on the roof. They were sealing the roof when it collapsed. They were doing it in phases. They'd seal one area, move the rubble, and so on. That part of the roof collapsed," says Malotana.
Malotana says it is estimated that 10 to 12 people were working in the area where the roof collapsed.
"So far, about four people have already been taken to casualties with minor injuries. We still need to account for the missing people," says Malotana.
JacarandaFM News' Maryke Vermaak spoke to some eyewitnesses.
