Royals to meet Archbishop Tutu
Updated | By Nathan Daniels
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex Prince Harry and Meghan Markle will meet one of the country’s most revered struggle icons Archbishop Desmond Tutu.
The meeting is set to take place at the Desmond & Leah Tutu Legacy Foundation in Cape Town on Wednesday.
Founded in 2013, the foundation contributes to the development of youth and leadership, and facilitates discussions about social justice.
The foundation is located in one of Cape Town’s oldest buildings and a national landmark, the Old Granary Building.
Prince Harry and Meghan Markle will meet Tutu and his daughter Thandeka.
The Duke of Sussex previously met with Archbishop Tutu in November 2015, when he was honoured on behalf of Queen Elizabeth in recognition of his services to UK communities and international peace and reconciliation.
