SA, Botswana meeting to address drought
Updated | By Samkelo Maseko
President Jacob Zuma is holding talks with his counterpart from Botswana, Ian Khama in Pretoria.

The bilateral meeting is aimed at strengthening economic and political ties between the two nations.
President Zuma says the meeting comes at a difficult time, with the SADC region experiencing a severe drought.
Zuma says the region needs to look at convening a summit to deliberate on the drought as that will have a negative impact on food production.
"The drought will result in significantly reduced crop production throughout southern Africa. This will have a far reaching impact," says President Zuma.
President Zuma also says that he looks forward to getting reports from various ministers from both countries on trade relations.
