SA hip-hop artist DJ Dimplez dies from brain haemorrhage

Award-winning hip-hop artist Boitumelo Athiel Mooi, popularly known as Dj Dimplez, passed away on Sunday.
The Mooi family confirmed the news in a statement, saying the popular South African artist passed away from a brain haemorrhage.
"It is with deep sadness that the Mooi family announces the untimely death of Boitumelo Athiel Mooi, popularly known as DJ Dimplez. He passed away (on) 6 March 2022, from a sudden brain haemorrhage. We ask for space and respect as we process Tumi's tragic passing," said the family.
The Way Up producer was known for his contribution to local hip-hop.
His music catalogue includes the famous album Kubu released in 2019 and We Ain't Leaving, on which he featured Anatii and L-Tido, and Way Up featuring Cassper Nyovest and JR.
His passing comes just a week after fans mourned the shocking deaths of Riky Rick and DJ Citi Lyts.
Fans and friends took to social media to express their shock at his untimely passing.
