SA records another 1372 Covid-19 infections

The Department of Health has recorded 1372 new Covid-19 infections, it said in a statement on Sunday evening.

This brings the total number to 735 278.
Health Minister Zweli Mkhize said 20 more people have died from the virus, bringing the death toll to 19,809.

Nineteen of the fatalities came from the Eastern Cape, while one death was recorded in Gauteng.
The country’s recovery rate has etched up to 92% with a total of 679 688 recoveries.
