SA student still missing in China

The Department of International
Relations and Cooperation says that there is no news on the South African student missing in China.
Alfa Mpetsheni (25), a student at Zhejiang University in Hangzhou, was last seen by his friends on January 15.

The department’s Lunga Ngqengelele says they are working closely with Chinese authorities for updates.
“We are in contact with the government of China to be able to assist in locating the missing South African in China, so far we have not been lucky in terms of getting a positive outcome but it is something we are working on.”
His mother Nokuthula says that all she wants is her son back home.
“He is a human and he is my son, I hope they didn’t cripple him, and they need to just bring back my son.”
