SAA cancels Mauritius flights
Updated | By JacarandaFM News
South African Airways has cancelled all its flights to and from Mauritius due to severe weather conditions over the island.

SAA says it will resume its flights to the holiday destination once its main airport re-opens.
The airline's Tlali Tlali says the decision was taken based on the safety of their passengers.
Authorities in Mauritius have closed its port and airport on Wednesday following a warning of a potentially dangerous tropical cyclone.
The cyclone, Berguitta, is expected to bring about winds as strong as 120 km/h.
And the cyclone is still 300 km from Mauritius...

"As soon as the weather clears we will resume operations and do everything possible to accommodate passenger who might have been impacted by the flights. This is a matter outside of our control."
Tlali also urged those passanger's whose flights have been affected to contact the airline.
