SABC Acting CEO resigns
Updated | By JacarandaFM News
The suspended acting Chief Executive of the SABC, James Aguma, has resigned.

Aguma's disciplinary hearing resumed yesterday where he was facing several charges.
His legal representative confirmed at the time that he was going to challenge the process in court.

The Save Our SABC (SOS) Coalition's Duduetsang Makuse says they hope his resignation does not mean that he is free from answering to the current state of the SABC.
"He very much had a central role to play in the financial malaise that the SABC finds itself in. We do still call on the board and the SABC to take this matter further," says Makuse.
