[WATCH] SABC equipment snatched at Zondo commission

The South African Broadcasting Corporation (SABC) has confirmed several pieces of equipment have been stolen at the commission of inquiry into state capture on Monday.

The national broadcaster released an 8-second video, showing how a woman stole a bag of equipment at the commission’s Parktown offices.
The SABC’s Neo Momodu says a full-scale probe has been launched following the robbery.

Momodu says the details remains sketchy and couldn’t provide the type or estimated value of the stolen equipment.
“The police are investigating and the SABC itself is also conducting an internal investigation to find out what exactly happened.”
