SABC mourns radio legend Kabelo ‘KB’ Molopyane

Tributes continue to pour in for radio presenter Kabelo 'KB' Molopyane following his death on Sunday morning.

The South African Broadcasting Corporation (SABC) confirmed his passing but the details surrounding his death remain unknown.
Molopyane joined the Motsweding FM, a Setswana radio station, as a presenter in 2002.
He went on to host multiple programmes including the morning and afternoon drive shows.
SABC acting spokesperson Mmoni Seapolelo says Molopyane made an immense contribution to the industry.
“His meaningful contribution to the SABC will continue to inspire all who knew him personally and professionally. The SABC Board, management and staff, would like to extend their heartfelt condolences to the Molopyane family and friends.
“His ability to use Setswana for entertainment and sports commentary inspired many youngsters, attracting them to the medium of radio,” Seapolelo says.
