SACP to join Cosatu planned mass strike
Updated | By ECR
Trade union federation Cosatu will be joined by alliance partner, the South African Communist Party (SACP), when it leads thousands of workers in a nationwide general strike against corruption and state capture tomorrow.

At least 13 marches will be taking place across the country and the trade union federation says it's all systems go.
Cosatu General-Secretary, Bheki Ntshalintshali says they are demanding a judicial commission of inquiry so that those found guilty of corruption are brought to book.
"This strike is about sending a message to both government and private sectors, that as workers and citizens - we are tired of corruption. We are standing up tomorrow against the cancer of corruption that is undermining our democracy. The recent poverty and unemployment statistics are shameful and represent a crisis of leadership in the country," he says.
