SANDF members linked to stolen weapons released on bail
Updated | By Lindiwe Mpanza
The twelve South African Defence Force (SANDF) members linked to the theft of weapons at the Tek Base in Lyttleton have been released on bail.

The defence force members were released on bail with conditions pending investigations on Friday.
This follows the theft of nineteen R4 assault rifles from the SANDF's depot.
SANDF's spokesperson Siphiwe Dlamini says the twelve suspects are expected back in court for trial in March.
The suspects are facing charges of theft, housebreaking, and the loss of firearms.
Dlamini added that those that were arrested were arrested based on what the investigation pointed to.
The SANDF is still hoping to recover the stolen weapons.
