The South African Defence Force (SANDF) has responded to an incident that is believed to have led to the death of a 40-year-old man in Alexandra, north of Johannesburg.
The man was reportedly drinking in his yard on Saturday when he was approached by SANDF officials who questioned him then proceeded to assault him.
A case of murder has since been opened against the SANDF at the Alexandra police station.
