This follows a fire that broke out at Wildebeestelaagte Farm outside Northam, on Friday, January 4.

"When police arrived at the farm, they found an entire building already engulfed in flames", says provincial police spokesperson, Moatshe Ngoepe.
"Officers in conjunction with other role players attempted to extinguish the fire with no success.
"In an attempt to rescue any people inside the blazing building, officers finally managed to gain entry by breaking the windows as all the doors were locked.
"Two people were found lying dead on the floor with serious burn wounds."
Police immediately launched a massive manhunt.
"Upon apprehending the suspect, the deceased's cell phone, house keys and other stolen items were found in his possession", Ngoepe says.
"A car stolen from the farm was also found in a chop-shop in the Rustenburg policing area.

"The process of identifying the deceased, aged 30 and 33, is still underway but they were confirmed to be Ugandan nationals."
The arrested suspect, who is also a Ugandan national, will appear in the Northam Magistrate's Court on Monday.
