Sars hopes it's the end of the strike

The South African Revenue Service (Sars) believes workers
will welcome the latest wage offer.
The new offer was tabled on Sunday afternoon and unions are expected to get feedback from their members on Monday morning.
National Education, Health and Allied Workers' Union (Nehawu) and Public Servants Association of South Africa (PSA) embarked on industrial action across the country on Thursday, against a three-year mulit-term offer.
Sars Executive for Remuneration and Benefits, Takalani Musekwa, says there's a possibility of reaching an agreement after labour and the organisation held long engagements around the disputed offers.
"In this regard, organised labour will be taking their proposal to their members this morning," says Musekwa.
Musekwa did not want to elaborate on the details surrounding the new offer.
"We are waiting on organised labour to engage with their members before we can pronounce on that, but all I can say is that both parties were able to move from their positions."
