SARS mum on Bosasa raid
Updated | By Algoa FM
The South African Revenue Service (Sars) remains mum on whether or not officials raided the offices of African Global Operations, formerly Bosasa, on Friday.

Bosasa has been making headlines since its former executive Angelo Agrizzi appeared at the commission of inquiry into state capture to testify about bribes and irregular tenders.
News24 reported that a Sars team arrived at the company's head office shortly after noon to execute a search and seizure warrant.
The news website said it’s understood that the taxman's newly established Illicit Economy Unit obtained the warrant earlier on Friday.
The media house reported that at this stage it is not clear what the Sars officials are looking for, adding that operations such as this one were confidential.
Sars spokesperson Sicelo Mkosi would not confirm or deny the raid.
"We wouldn't want to comment on the raid on specific taxpayer, but you would appreciate the fact that Sars has established a number of units, including the Illicit Economy Unit and it has various enforcement units. On regular basis we continue to enforce tax laws and we'll do that without any fear or favour, but I am not confirming or denying if we have been any specific offices as you allege.”
