SAWS warns of heavy downpours in Gauteng, Limpopo, Mpumalanga

The South African Weather Service has issued a Yellow level 2 warning for severe thunderstorms over central parts of the country.
Forecaster Molebohene Manthata says the warning has been issued for Saturday only.
A 60% chance of rain is expected.
"Over the Mpumalanga province tomorrow (Saturday), we are expecting a 60% chance over the highveld but 30% over the escarpment areas covering Mbombela.
"In Limpopo, we are only expecting a 60% chance of rain over the southern parts. Otherwise in the central just a 30% over the central and western parts.
"In Gauteng, we are expecting 60% chances over the northern and central parts," she said.
Manthata said the rainfall is expected to start on Friday evening.
