SAWS warns of more disruptive weather over large parts of SA

The South African Weather Service warned on Monday that more disruptive weather could occur in parts of the country this week.
On Monday, widespread showers and thundershowers are expected to hit some parts of Gauteng.
The rainy weather will extend to the central parts of the Free State, Eastern Cape, KwaZulu-Natal, and the North West.
Weather forecaster Lehlohonolo Thobela said there is a possibility of heavy downpours that could lead to localised flooding.
Damaging winds as the storms could also develop in the central interior, leading to the eastern parts, which might lead to hail.
Coastal regions are also expected to experience disruptive rains.
On Tuesday, scattered showers will spread to the eastern areas covering the Eastern Cape, KwaZulu-Natal, central parts of Gauteng, southern parts of Limpopo, and parts of Mpumalanga.
The next day, isolated, scattered showers and thundershowers are expected over the northeastern provinces of Limpopo, Mpumalanga, and KwaZulu-Natal.
The inclement weather already left some Tshwane residents without power on Monday.
